ments campus Continually changing! In 2010 the TU Delft campus was once again a hive of activity. The old heating power plant was demolished and the new one should soon make substantial improvements in energy efficiency. TU Delft and TNO joined forces in the field of separation technology for the process industry. TNO moved in to a new building on Leeghwaterstraat which is connected to the TU Delft Process & Energy department by a seven-metre long air bridge. And no-one need get lost on campus thanks to the new and colourful signage system which was introduced in 2010. Three examples of engineering art were installed in the Mekelpark pilot project: the EnergyPlant, the Galileo thermometer and the Graslok bench. 43 | Highlights 2010 Organisation
